Weddings

Are you planning a wedding? Did you know you can get officially married in the Hortus? The Orangery is an official location for weddings and a beautiful venue for an evening reception or dinner.

Wedding location

Wedding ceremonies are only allowed in the rooms of the Orangery; marriage in the garden or greenhouses is not possible.
After the wedding ceremony, you can hold your party or dinner in the Orangery (see the conditions for congress facilities).
The Orangery is available every evening.

Please note that the employees of the Hortus can only book the rooms and, if desired, the caterers. You must contact Burgerzaken van Stadsdeel Centrum in order to set the wedding date and to discuss all of the legalities with regard to a wedding.
