Parties can make use of our outdoor terrace and hire our party tents. Extra costs € 250,- (only on evenings).

Drinks

In principle, the Hortus will supply all refreshments. You may, however, bring your own wine and champagne. Please note that the Hortus will charge a corkage fee of € 12,50 and € 15, respectively, per bottle. The prices of the consumptions are the same as in the Museum café.

Personnel

The number of personnel depends on the number of attendees. Every larger party will have the constant service of one of our partymanagers. The barkeepers and the doorman will start preparing your party one hour in advance and will need one hour to clean up.

Partymanager: € 30,- p.p. per hour.
Barkeepers: € 25,- per person per hour.
Doorman: € 25,- per hour.

The Hortus has contacts with a number of specialized caterers. We will gladly help you make the right choice for your event. Click HERE for a list of caterers.

Music equipment

Microphones are available. Only acoustic live music is allowed. Should you want a dj, please contact our sales staff.

AV equipment

A beamer, screen, and CD player can be rented.

Guided tours

An exclusive guided tour of the Hortus, during the day or in the evening, is a possible addition to your event. The maximum number of people per guide is 15.

Conditions for reservations

All agreements you make with the Hortus will be put in a contract. All costs (including the € 225,- deposit and a down payment on drinks) must be paid in advance. Please read our complete conditions for the Laranjazaal and the Oranjerie.
